Razor follows in the footsteps of tall tales spinning the idea of a human living and learning among wild animals. Known as the Wolf Boy throughout Mondstadt, Razor lives a private life around Wolvendom, rarely being spotted by the rest of the region’s natives. Nobody knows for sure whether he’s a boy living among beasts, or a beast taking on the form of a boy: but one thing is for sure - he hunts like those he’s surrounded by.

Wielding a Claymore and in possession of an Electro Vision, this young man (or older wolf) sports the scars and tooth-laded necklaces to prove his survivalist lifestyle. He potentially uses his command over Electro energy to paralyze pray in ways his canine companions cannot.
Razor is a 4-star character that rarely gets rate-ups on the character banner. But that's the best bet you'll have if you want him.
On the battlefield, Razor serves the role of a main DPS. His need to weave attacks together to extend the uptime of his abilities, meaning he’s designed to stay out on the field as much as possible.
His Elemental Skill generates consumable Electro Sigils that, when held, increase his Energy Recharge stat and can be spent to deal increased damage, restoring a large chunk of Elemental Energy in the process. It’s all in a bid to increase the frequency of his Elemental Burst that adds a second passive strike to each of his Normal Attacks, increasing the speed of his attacks in the process.
Razor's Talents and Skill Priorities
Razor is one of the only Electro Main DPS and is a very good unit especially in the early parts of the game. For his skill priorities, it should go a little bit like this:
- Normal Attack and Elemental Burst
- Elemental Skill
|Normal Attack||Steel Fang||Tap: 4-hit strike|
Hold: Continuous strikes that consume Stamina over time
Plunge: Non-elemental AoE DMG
|Elemental Skill||Claw and Thunder||Tap: Deals Electro DMG to targets in front, granting 1 Electro Sigil that increases Razor's Energy Recharge stat. A maximum of 3 Electro Sigils can be active at one time.|
Hold: Deals AoE Electro DMG and converts each Electro Sigil into Energy.
|Elemental Burst||Lightning Fang||While active, a wolf spirit boosts Razor's ATK SPD and Electro RES, makes him immune to the DMG caused by Electro-Charged, and disables the use of his Charged Attacks while following up each Normal Attack with its own Electro DMG strike.|
|First Ascension Passive||Awakening||Decreases the CD of Claw and Thunder by 18%. Using Lightning Fang now resets the CD of Claw and Thunder.|
|Fourth Ascension Passive||Hunger||Razer gains 30% more Energy Recharge when below 50% Energy.|
|Passive Talent||Wolvenspirit||Decreased Stamina consumption of party members when sprinting by 20%.|
|Constellation Name||In-Game Description|
|Wolf's Nature (C1)||Increases Razor's ATK DMG by 10% for 8s after picking up an Elemental Orb/Particle.|
|Suppression (C2)||Attacks against enemies with less than 30% Max HP have a 10% increases CRIT Rate.|
|Soul Companion (C3)||Increases the level of Lightning Fang by 3.|
|Bite (C4)||When executing the tap effect of Claw and Thunder, enemies lose 15% DEF for 7s.|
|Sharpened Claws (C5)||Increases the level of Claw and Thunder by 3.|
|Lupus Fulguris (C6)||Every 10s, Razor's next Normal Attack deals 100% of his ATK as Electro DMG and, if Lightning Fang isn't in effect, grants an Electro Sigil.|
Razor is in a tight spot regarding his flexibility. The only role he's suited to is the main DPS which can make him very susceptible to power creep.
Best Weapons for Razor
Since Razor will be dishing out lots of damage, you'd want a weapon that can do the same. Here are some of the best weapons for Razor:
|Weapon Name||In-Game Description|
|Wolf's Gravestone||Increases ATK by20%. On hit, attacks against opponents with less than 30% HP increase all party members' ATK by40% for 12s. Can only occur once every 30s.|
|Serpent Spine||Every 4s a character is on the field, they will deal6% more DMG and take3% more DMG. This effect has a maximum of 5 stacks and will not be reset if the character leaves the field, but will be reduced by 1 stack when the character takes DMG.|
|Prototype Archaic||On hit, Normal or Charged Attacks have a 50% chance to deal an additional240% ATK DMG to opponents within a smallAoE. Can only occur once every 15s.|
Best Artifacts for Razor
Similar to above, you'd want artifacts that boost Razor's attack or have very good synergy with him. Here are some of the few that he can use. Make sure not to mix and match these two. If you're using one of them, go for the 4-piece effect.
For main stats, look out for ATK Sands, Electro DMG% Goblet, and Crit Rate/Crit Damage Circlet depending on your Crit Rate.
